WorkBench is a free, one page test code processor and organizer for Lasso. It allows you to:

  • write code in a textarea and execute it (returning the results at the top of the page),
  • save, retrieve, and delete snippets on the same page,
  • open snippets in a popup window to copy/paste from multiple snippets,
  • create a list of links on the same page so you can link to a snippet so it will run in a separate window.


It's a great way to organize test code for utility routines, concept development, experiments with tags, speed comparisons, method comparisons, and more. It's also useful for storing bug detection and verification code.

The free download includes the entire source code so you can enhance the application for your own uses. It comes with a few sample snippets to experiment with.

GW WorkBench is compatible with Lasso 6.0.4+, 7.0.1+, and Lasso 8.0.0+
